For a long time, Radio5Live's 606 phone-in show was almost a must hear for this enthusiast of the beautiful game.

Lately, I find R. Savage's 606 exchanges with callers increasingly more rude than previously. He really has become a loud mouth shouting down too many callers.

When regularly hosted by Allen Green I tried not to miss R5L 606 call in show.

So, with an increasing dislike for the way Savage deals with callers, for the past few months I've tuned in to talkSport's Saturday evening callers' show hosted by Stan Collymore. He appears different class in all respects.

How do others see or, hear this? Have I missed something with TV and Radio BBC's overuse of Savage?

I like Collymore. I think he's very good. During talkSPORT's coverage of the WC in S Africa, he was the only one to come out and say we were rubbish and had no hope, before the tournament.

Can't stand Collymore on Talksport. Yes he does speak his mind but often he shouts over people and doesn't like it if they give an alternative opinion.
He just tries to speak louder and louder and drown people out.

I agree i have to turn Talksport off when Collymore is on , he really grates on me.

I quite like the Fletcher & Savage on 606 but i do prefer Ian Wright with Kelly Cates on the sunday though.

Just to add to the mix, have you heard Ian Wright on Absolute on Saturday afternoons?
