On form, he shouldn't go

Thoughts?

He's never preformed at the highest level.
They need to move on.

Voy will take him.

He isn't good enough, but I expect he will be selected.

He'll play because of his name and team he plays for. It'll be the same with joe hart and Harry Kane who will be chosen over jack butland and Jamie vardy. Who I feel are playing better this season imo.

He hasn't been good enough for ages, but still gets picked, and will continue to be for some unfathomable reason....

Based on his tournament history he shouldn't go, his current form also means he shouldn't go.

Even Troy Deeney deserves a place more than Rooney.

With 32 goals in his last 50 premier league games, I really don't think anyone can begrudge Harry Kane a place in the squad.

Of course Rooney shouldn't go to the 2016 Euro Championship and if he cared for the English national team he would retire from international football.

He shouldn't go.

Which means he'll go and will be captain.

We always come home early, the media hype will go through the roof before the tournament and then the grim reality of the team playing better footballers will set in.

He was burnt out three seasons ago, and as said never really performed at international level. Leave him at home for me.
