My beloved Newcastle will have to pull it out of the bag to displace Norwich though. We have some new signings which may or may not work. Bournemouth seem to be pulling away from the pack a little and Norwich are capable of getting results. Villa have no hope and it's a big ask for Sunderland to do what they have in the past few seasons by going on a run.

This. Villa are already doomed, Norwich aren't strong enough and Sunderland's tactic of relying on a late miracle will finally catch up

Villa are doomed and I think Norwich will fall by the wayside too.

As a Sunderland fan I think it's fair to say that we have pulled some tremendous great escapes off over the years, but if we did it this time around it would be the most impressive one yet, but I don't think it'll happen - so Sunderland will be the third team to take the plunge IMO. Sadly.
