So Leicester may have lost to Arsenal but they are still in with a good chance of winning the league.

Considering the money involved in the EPL nowadays would it be an even bigger shock than NFFC in 77/78 ?

Or would they need to go on and win the ECL to match Cloughie ?

Bearing in mind footy today - and comparing it to back then, if Leicester win the Premiership t would be the single most impressive team performance ever in football over a season. ANYONE can win a cup, (or a Euro Champs) but to win a top league over 38 games takes consistency which Leicester have demonstrated. You don't have to have been the best team even. To keep up the consistency over that length of team for a team with their players and their financial wherewithall is very impressive.

One or two players go in the summer maybe, the dynamic changes and they become mid-table agin, I don't know - their players have gelled superbly this year, they are entertaining to watch and they dish out beatings to the big teams, so all well and good.

That Forest team was put together using good money for the time, with Trevor Francis as the first million pound player and at the time that was really quite shocking.

I think Leicester have gone further for less money (and I am a Forest fan)
