What a joke, I know that lots of clubs have "boo boys" etc, but how pathetic is that?

I used to be a fervent footy fan but not any longer. As the players become more and more primadona actors, and the "fans" more thoughtless and uncaring morons , I find myself focussing more on rugby.

This incident is shocking, and the idiot responsible should be prosecuted and banned from all football stadiums for life, but he isn't typical.

It was a disgraceful act, but by one individual, who I hope will be identified and punished accordingly. There's no place for this in football. The other 3,999 Albion fans on Saturday were fine - we had a good time in the pubs of Reading, some good banter with the Reading fans and, apart from the performance on the pitch, a very enjoyable day out.
