Butch, sad loss to the world of football. Always loved to hear him talk on the radio and my mate sat with him for dinner at the Barca game and he said he entertained them the whole time with football knowledge. Top bloke !

Bloody hell, that's far too young. Always seemed like a gentleman, great servant to Chelsea as well, and a very good player. I seem to recall him getting sent off playing for England for gently lobbing the ball towards the ref, but I might have dreamed that. RIP.

Bugger frown I seldom contribute to these threads as when you're gone you're gone but he always seemed such a decent chap.

Very sad to hear. I'm too young to remember him as a player but he always came across as a gentleman and interesting on Sky Sports, one of the few pundits who do. RIP.

As a follower of QPR back in the day, I was always a big fan of Ray Wilkins, so much so that I could forgive him for scoring that amazing volley for Glasgow Rangers against the mighty Celtic in 1988.

RIP Ray

RIP Ray. Always loved listening to him & he seemed a lovely bloke. Too young to have seen him as a player but my Dad still occasionally mentions what a fantastic talent he was. Hope he gets a great send off on Sunday.
