Peter Crouch. Am I missing something?

His Podcast "That Peter Crouch Podcast" is brilliant.
He comes across as a really funny guy and has some really interesting stories.
I think any football fan should give it a listen.

He's a funny fellow. Although highly effective in the air, I always felt he never received enough credit for his on the ball ability.

He was also a million times better than Emile Heskey.

Just looking at wikipedia about his career now, 3 seasons each at Spurs and Liverpool and 8 at Stoke, hardly a journeyman. Like many others have said his podcast is brilliant, very funny, he comes across as very down to Earth, which is admirable considering the sort of career he's had.

In your opinion. Has he? Or has he just capitalised on an opportunity. I think we should all be embracing him. At the end of the day he seems very down to earth, as normal as can be and not up his own A hole, like a lot of them.

It's such a rarity for a pro footballer to be natural , funny and personable, mostly they
are either thick as mince or drink-driving rapists, or maybe both.

Plus his physical appearance makes him instantly recognisable even to folk who have no affinity for football.

I usually find myself agreeing with him. I think he's a good pundit too.

I like listening to Crouch (and Jenas for that matter). Comes across as a decent bloke with a good sense of humour. Some of his stories from his podcast are hilarious as well as giving the armchair fan a glimpse in to the world of professional football.
