Nadim Zahawi - Football Hooligan

Former Chancellor Nadim Zahawi has confessed to being a Liverpool football hooligan in his youth. Apparently he changed his ways when he was injured in a fight with Southampton fans in a cup semi at White Hart Lane, when he was clattered by a police horse in the Seven Sisters Rd.

It would be good if Rishi Sunak, a Southampton fan, confessed to also being involved in the same punch up, when he was in the Saints' firm, but I guess that's too much to ask for.

My main memory of the game though was Mark Wright breaking his leg. Poor bloke was in agony.
