Agreed on the UEFA matches last night. The other teams must be very weak this season. Every Euro Thursday I sit here looking forward to Utd and Spurs being shown up and...they're made to look like decent teams.

No doubt UEFA will see this as a reason to have another fiddle.

I bet alot of the recent winners of the Europa League have been teams who dropped out of the Champions League. Now they can't do that there are no "stronger" teams to drop down and take it which probably would have happened this year. I think it's better for the competition though.

No the cup winners qualify, same as usual. It's crazy it's utd or spurs who may reach the final but it's been the way of the European setup for a while in terms of cup winners

I’m not as rabid as some/most of you, so now that PL is in the bag from this season I’m not hugely fussed about defending it next season, instead I want the CL.
Old Big Ears is my football romantic thing and I want more European finals.

It will always be league>ECL>FA cup>league cup.

Cups are a lot more exciting, but the League gives ultimate bragging rights.

Agree to be honest. Winning the PL only for the next 10 years would more than satisfy me (while probably gettting boring for everyone - even LFC fans would be complaining about not winning cups).

Why not both?

Have a first XI to win one but requires a solid Slot squad to hope to achieve it. Summer changes will be a good indicator.
