Two match ban for handball
Discussion
Is this the Baggies last Saturday ? It does seem a strange decision, presumably one of the new rules for this season. The answer is to spot the infringement at the time. Poor refereeing. Surely a fairer result would be to nominate the match as a 1-1 draw.
Even as a Norwich fan, I don't like this outcome and fear for the game if the rule-makers start making arbitrary decisions on individual circumstances.

I have just seen this and looked at the video. In real time difficult to tell and the ref and linesman would have been hard pushed to spot it.
Would be interesting to know who has picked up on it and decided that a 2 match ban is appropriate. What would have happened if the ref had seen it? No goal and nothing else I suspect since I don’t think it was deliberate handball. At best it would have been a yellow card and unless it was his second card then no ban,
Looks harsh to me

It’s blatant cheating. It wasn’t an accident in any way. Isn’t this exactly the sort of cheating that we want to see taken out of the game? Hopefully it sends a message to players.
I’d much rather this be punished than a goal ruled out for a toenail being offside, or a ball maybe brushing the arm of an attacker on the way to him scoring with his feet.
