New 2019 Forester

A few sites have posted spy shots and the underlying concept of the new Forester model, due to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor show and in showrooms in November 2018 (allegedly, with the caveat that that might not be UK market info).

Seems to be following the model progression, moving up market and getting bigger again. The Viziv concept looks pretty tasty, but the spy shots look much more slab sided and heavy-set. Could just be the camo. It's supposed to be boxer engine, CVT only. Possible electric hybrid at some point, and no diesel anymore.

Yes the new Global platform, no diesel or the XT petrol Turbo.

All cars with LINEARTRONIC auto transmission.

Looks very similar to existing model.

Subaru UK is a contractor who takes what Subaru Europe decide to sell in Europe.

They are selling off the Diesel Forester at the moment with a £5k discount.

The hybrids are not ready yet for Europe, probable introduced here 2019.

They are selling loads of the new XT on three months delivery and the can sell as many as they can get from Japan.
