Pictures You've Taken of Celestial Objects

Self explanatory guys, I wouldn't mind a telescope and camera (started this thread based on the telescope thread).

I'd like to see what sort of images you've been able to capture (not just google images taken with £1000's worth of kit).

So, over to you guys.

I've got a nice one of the moon from when I was in Mexico.

I saw the moon today in daylight. Always like that, makes me think of Return of the Jedi.

Here's one that I took a couple of years ago.

M8, aka The Lagoon, is thwe nebula on the left. M20, the Triffid, is the nebula on the right. Also shown are star clusters M21 and NGC6544.

Yep. Got quite a few moon shots this time, and this is my favourite.

I know its not that impressive compared to some but I'm pleased considering the scope and webcam used came to £70 total :-)

Indeed, that's the kind of shot I'd like to be able to achieve. I bet you could get a pretty good one of Saturn, Mars and Venus too.

I was having a blonde moment trying to figure out what's going on in that pic, then I realised it's an eclipse! Nice.

Cheers. Partial a few years ago. Baader filter so it blocks most of the light.

Mighty peed off at the focus for this one, could have been ever so much better, you can make out the mountain ranges on the edge only just
