Report on the guardian website regarding the latest speech from the president of the AAAS. Interesting and depressing reading.

Warning - linked article mentions Climate change and includes a pic of a polar bear, NSFMR (Mail readers)

It's a pity the Climate Change argument (which IS dubious science) gets dragged into what is a genuine concern.

This is what happens when creationists are given the title "scientist". If you want to be treated like a scientist then act like a scientist, that way there will be no "attack" and your science will be judged as it should.

Show your working, show your data, give your theories to those who are sceptical of them - they are your best friends, adhere to the scientific protocol - if they did this then there would be no doubt.

The AGW fascists don't want this of course because their "science" doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Whether science is dubious or not the interests of big business will always seek to circumvent when their profit margins are hindered. Corruption in science has a history, corruption in business has a history, sometimes they work together, like Monsanto, sometimes they take each other one. It's all part of the circle.biggrin
