Anyone else see it last night?

Never seen anything like it, we thought at first it was a plane about to auger in.

Yes I saw it!
What a sight. It just happens that the position of where I lay on the couch to watch TV has a window nearby that looks in to the exact place in the sky that the meteor appeared.
I actually saw the whole thing from when it started to light up until it faded.

A very clear orange glow of flames trailing a bright ball of yellowish-white light, which then faded in to an dull orange glowing dot as it burnt up completely.

I'm sure I'll probably never see anything like it again in my lifetime.

Richard Black BBC said:
The meteor is a result of increased atmospheric temperature causing carbon dioxide to gel together creating a rock and falling to Earth. As MMGW continues we can expect increased rainfall in the form of meteors
