So Kittinger did it in 1960, a british guy came very close to doing it about 15 years ago (see the book FreeFall by Tom Reed), and now someone else is having a crack.....

I have read quite a lot of books on this subject and am keenly following progress on this most recent attempt, lets just hope he gets the gondola exit right....
