There has already been some evidence from infra-red spectroscopy work of exposed water ice at the lunar poles - given the equipment aboard SOFIA, I'd guess this is more in the same vein.

Or they've found an abandoned WW2 bomber on the moon.

NASA spends $3Billion on a 5 year programme to establish a lunar communications gateway and audible language protocols to make contact with the Clangers.

Space X spends $3 on a penny whistle and $300 on coffee for a mammoth overnight hacking session to bodge some Starlink satellites, and are talking to the Clangers inside of 24 hours, offering a private sector technology sharing arrangement.

The Clangers inform SpaceX that they've been working with Blue Origin for the past 5 years on the quiet, so thanks, but no thanks.
