CERN are looking to transport anti matter! Interesting. Good job the quantities will be small!

I always thought it would be possible but the key has to be a stable vacuum and a stable magnetic field.

Am I right in thinking that a matter/anti-matter explosion would be far worse than nuclear because ALL the matter is turned into energy?

This could lead to the atomic equivalent of a rocket motor...

I'm fairly sure Tom Hanks was nearly killed by exactly this sort of thing about 15 years ago.

Yes - but the amount being talked about here may just make a quiet "ping" if it contacts matter.
