Fantastic picture of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland from space, with the Isle of Man in the middle. Look how much greener the west side of the country is to the east due to the Gulf stream.

When was it taken? I think it reflects average rainfall rather than temperature.

Not had any rain for a month maybe even 6 weeks. Grass is browned off. I am in a green bit of the map.

It is indeed, and for the sake of including the whole image rather than a selective crop of it (most likely from some weirdo Farcebook page)



However I wouldnt be surprised to learn it looks pretty similar right now, if you are in the East it is very likely it hasn't rained since March

There looks to be an Isle of Man shaped hole in the coastline but wonder why the Isle of Man has sailed away so much.
