See light progress through a water bottle. There's an illuminated apple with no shadow on the wall immediately behind it (for a shortish period of time). It's all done with mirrors, or at least a mirror.

Slo-mo just doesn't cover it.

It's a bit of a cheat, and it's also in scope to build one yourself as I've seen it done by people DIYing it in their garage. https://www.reddit.com/r/esp32/comments/1v5agh9/li...

It works by doing a very specific photon capture vs a laser pulse and doing it repeatedly, so although it looks like you're capturing an event in super slowmo whats happening is it's lots of precisely timed tiny bits of lots of events all stitched together. Great for a demo of a pulsed laser light source if you've got a very long time to record, not so much for anything else.

There is another YT vid by Alpha Phoenix, which he built his own “camera” and is (IMO) much more impressive.
