Tyre pressure problem

Hi all,

I've just checked the tyres on a Vauxhall Astra and they were all at around 23psi or so. I started inflating them and have got them all to around 26psi but they won't seem to inflate anymore - no matter how much air I try to put in. Any ideas? Is it the pump or the tyres? I was aiming to inflate the fronts to 32psi and the rears to 30psi, but no luck.
