Hi, I'm after a jack that lifts higher than my current one so I can get the axle stands above the first notch, looking at a sealey 1025hl maximum lift height of 530mm. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-1025HL-Super-Trolle... anyone know of any better ones, strictly no more than £75 as otherwise it just escalates until it's way over £100.

Got it in one, top of the Highlands about 5 miles south of John o groats.Non-member delivered price (unless Campbell is a clue to your location).
They stocked an Arcan aluminium type originally. Light and pretty but not that durable (but better than other alloy jacks). They replaced this with a much cheaper to buy Arcan steel jack. This was very nice but not even remotely light.
They now stock a steel and alloy hybrid and it is this model that I have linked to.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arcan-Trolley-3000KG-Profe... would have got one of these if they still did them.
But SO MUCH BETTER. The original jack is pretty crap and you can get so much more by stretching your budget a little. Its in budget if you go to their store btw, hence my suggestion.
As a part-Scottish Yorkshireman I understand budgetary constraints, but be quiet and put your hand in your pocket!

It's a real shame Costco don't stock this one. http://www.powerstationusa.com/brands/Arcan/produc...

you will need high axle stands as well to use fully. o.k but to get maximum lift need to lift with another jack.
i prefer my halfords one, http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/garage-work...
lifts the same height, 53cm, a lot more sturdier but bigger, no issues and held a car for a few days, no leak.

I have this one;

Although over budget it is lower than a worm's belly when closed and easily lifts anything. Great bit of kit. I also have their 12 tonne axle stands which are very sturdy. It's all a bit overkill for a 911 that weighs 1076kg, but after a mishap with my old Halford's s
te jack and stands I found it pays to be well equipped.
