Vauxhall corsa 2002 engine light flashing

[bryan843]

I have a 2002 Vauxhall corsa 1.2 and the engine light flashes when starting also the throttle body makes clicking noise any ideas .

It could be a number of things. I think you will have to get a computer on there to see what the error code is with the engine light. As for the throttle have you traced this under the bonnet and observed what is happening?

if it drive by wire the throttle body will click, ebven when not running and the ign on?
As said get it code read.

I assume the ems light is flickering as you crank the engine, not flashing evenly?
