Measure the voltage on the fuel rail pressure sensor. Centre wire is normally 0.5v with ignition on. Start it, and see how long it takes to reach 1.3v. Does it crank at 0.5v for 3 seconds, and then quickly rise (and start), or does it hit 1.3v immediately, and still not start.

Do a leak off test ,do a cold and hot test you will prob have a bad injector when it gets hot .

Could be injectors. Viscosity of the fuel sat in the rail of a hot engine goes down considerably. If the injectors leak off too much that could be your problem.

Happens to my car on hot summer days after motorway runs. Luckily it hasn't failed to start yet.

Don't these have trouble with the ecu? The sit next to the exhaust so get very hot. The soldered joints inside breakdown. You can re-solder the joint your self, or its about £100 to exchange them.

Can't make any sense of the last 2 posts in this 8 year old thread!! I'd suggest if its an issue with your vehicle, starting a new thread on it and providing a decent description of the symptoms and what you've been able to check already.
