Cleaning inside of wheels so wheel weights stick better?

Waste of time or worth doing? So when your high street tyre fitter adds the weights, they’ll stand less chance of flinging off.

Probably worth doing so they don't use a wire wheel or scotch pad to quickly strip the dirt off.

Worth doing, since you'll take more care than the tyre fitters will.

Won't hurt, but my local garage has a few microfibers and brake cleaner. Does no harm.
