Anyone know what might be the problem with my car, the lower gears (2 and 4) dont want to go in like yet aren't there.
the neutral position has moved downwards, this i have noticed. now it is like the lower gears are hidden.
How and where do i start to inspect the problem befor i take it to someone that might charge me alot just to check and see what the problem is.

No idea about that car, but from the general symptoms it sounds as if there might be a failed bush/joint in the gear lever linkage.

I suspect either an engine mount or the rear 'doggone' mount has failed allowing the engine/box to move.

Hi guys thanks for the feedback i found out it was the lower gears (2 & 4). A well known mechanic told me and showed me that it is infact the gear cables that connect to the gears in the gearbox from the stick. Thank God nothing broke of stripped in the gearbox. Will instal new parts today and see how well it works. i bought the car last week still havent felt the power of the car yet.

Is that similar to the Dog-bone mount?
