Just had a mobile mechanic out to swap wheel bearing for my seat ibiza but every socket tried didn't fit the actual hub nut needs to be a VAG socket. So I bought a vag hub socket set but only goes up 32mm I need a 36mm and can't find one anywhere even the dealer, can some suggest somewhere I can find one? Cheers

there is 12 edges to the hub nut don't know if that will help.

That helps immensely.

You need a 12 edged hub nut VAG socket set that goes up to 36mm.

A normal 12 point socket will do it but I doubt you will find a 1/2 drive one singly but a 3/4 drive will be readily available. Neilson tools do a set off hub sockets with a 30,32 and 36mm plus 3 hex sockets for some VW hubs.

I meant needing one in a hurry walking into your local tool shop, if you have time to wait anything is available online. I know I could walk in to either of my local industrial suppliers and get any amount of 3/4 drive 36mm sockets but near sure if I wanted 1/2in drive 12 point it would need to be ordered.

1/2" generally have thinner walls but a thin walled 3/4" will do.

They do need to be thin walled as there isn't much space on the VAG hubs. If you're local to Kent let me know.
