Ok so i have cut out all the nasty ecu wiring (removing the EFI).
I now need to wire it all back up with a kill switch, push button start, custom fuse box and battery relocation.

I have tried many drawings out like this one i drew:

Only thing is it still has a alternator which i have not accounted for and i am really worried hooking up the fuse box to the switching side of the cutoff switch with the same cable connected directly to the solenoid (starter motor).

Where am i going wrong??

I know someone on this forum must have done this before and might be able to offer some guidance so i don't blow up the battery or electrocuting myself.

be careful - get the alternator sorted as if you put that at the kill switch and isolate the battery you run the risk of damaging the electrics if you tun it off with the engine running.

Thanks for the rapid reply. Don't suppose i could persuade you to draw a fag box design so that i can see with your ideas on how to solve this?

Sort of (i found that image on google before i posted), however i brought the dual pole cut off switch without the additional connectors.

I don't mind buying it a new one, i just want to see how it would be incorporated into the diagram and more importantly if i have made a fundamental error that could cost me my life!

Just to add, i someone want to draw it out professionally for me (including outputs for lighting circuits etc), i am willing to pay for it.

I don't see anything unusual in what you are trying to do - the only problem is that you have got the wrong type of cut-off switch.

Get the right sort. Mechanical cut-off switches are not expensive. It will almost certainly come with a wiring diagram explaining how to connect it, and if not the diagram you mentioned earlier should do the job.

Final question. Can I use both a warning switch and indicator stalk switch in series to use only one relay for both the indicator/warning lights?

Can anyone see anything wrong with the diagram?
