I am looking for a sensor that does not seem to be able to be purchased on its own. Anyone know how I could get one of these?

F00C268011 bosch Air flow sensor.

Thanks.

Where was it originally fitted?

Can we have the part# and application? Might make it easier to dig out. FWIW that part# doesn't even google, so not looking hopeful.

It’s part of the overall pipe that connects the air filters and turbo on a 2013 Mercedes CLS.

I’m guessing this is one of the bonded airflow sensors that are part of the Y pipe on the 320cdi? I can see why you’d want the individual part, the whole Y pipe and sensors was 300 quid 5 years ago from Mercedes.

You're not making this easy OP. Can we have the VIN number or at very least the exact engine number please?

I'm guessing it's OM642.???

Do you think that this sensor would be a replacement? It is only screwed it from the pics I can see.

Don't see why not. Number is for a petrol model. Not exactly what car you have. Pic would help. But if you can buy the MAF alone, it will come off alone.

Thanks. This is the whole unit.

This is the part number stamped on the plastic.

Is this it?? They look different from the image above?

Have you tried GSF car parts, they supplied me with a genuine Bosch air flow sensor for my SL.

So it's the MAFs that fit on the end of the turbo intake pipes? The stamp is probably a Merc part number. Just guessing tbh without knowing your reg or engine. But you can buy the intake pipes without the MAFs so shouldn't be problem to swap them. Can't really see you having to buy the intake too.
Run you reg through ECP and you'll get a result.

Is that going to come out of the pipe? It looks like it'll have been fused into the pipework...

I was thinking about cutting the old one off making sure not to damage the pipe.

the only part offered is the one that I can change and have done, only to find it did not solve the problem.
