Dear All,

I am facing this issue from last week and when I accelerate in neutral gear then no issue or unusual noise...
Even no issue in 1st gear....
Slight loud sound in 2nd gear...
and major issue is when I am trying to accelerate From 3,4,5,6th gear from 1500 room then strange rattle noise appears inside the cabin...
Some times I feel that it is coming from the engine bay but not sure ...

please advise on this as per my understanding it must be from exaust but confused as no noise when I accelerate in neutral gear...

Sharing video of same noise issue ...

When the engine is pulling against the transmission the torque is reacted against the engine mounts, which are designed to flex. This means the engine moves quite a lot when it is accelerating in gear. That movement flexes and stresses the exhaust. This can result in different noises depending whether the car is in gear.

Good afternoon,

Did you get your motor into the garage?

Mine has started making this noise briefly between 1500 and 2000 rpm. And wanted to get some ideas based on what you found.

Cheers
