Hi,
I'm trying to remove my rear wiper arm, however, it is seized onto the spindle. I've tried wd40 but no luck. Any tips or advice?

Many thanks.

You need a wiper arm extractor, they are always stuck as usually two metals on a tapered spline with loads of water around.

If you have a pair of vice grips handy - loosen nut a few turns until no threads of spindle are showing and position the grips with one jaw on the nut and the other under the wiper arm and squeeze. Works for me .

I've also got one you can use if you're local to Worcesteshire.

Firstly, you need a proper penetrating oil, not WD40

Yup... I'm a PlusGas man too.

Not tried acetone and ATF but I've got plenty of either if I ever find something PlusGas can't get shifting.

Coat it with copper grease and leave to stand for an hour this will help it loosen up then apply a hammer and ever so gently knock it until it slides off. This will do the trick.
Copper grease stops stuff seizing. It doesn't penetrate so wont free something already stuck.
