I’m having some issues with my battery so I’m looking to replace it. The current battery is a aftermarket one which was there when I bought the car and has an Ah value of 60. But when I go on Halfords and put reg in. They recommend a battery with a Ah value of 75.

Where can I find the the right battery for my car? Should I trust the Halfords recommendation?

TIA

The Ah rating is saying how much energy it stores, no problem having more. There is also a CCA rating which is a measure of how much power it can give to the starter motor (to help cold starting) , again having more is no problem.
What is important is the physical size of the battery to make sure it fits in the car. The type and location of the terminals is also important to make sure the car cables can connect to the battery.
