Love affair with mk2 rs225 continues, airbag light on,
Discussion
So, at long last managed to get to the bottom of my clutch fiasco with my megane rs225. Popped into the cab after the joy of finally getting gears and was distracted by a lever under the steering wheel, oh, it's got height adjustable steering!
Never noticed it before as it's not central under the wheel, anyway, decided to take a huge risk and pull said lever and adjust height of steering, and yes, you guessed it, car said no! Airbag light ffs!
Considering airbag squib is only 6 months old and has been faultless i was slightly miffed to say the least. Can you sparingly use die electric grease on the airbag connections? Or is there some other product that increase/aids conductivity at the connections? Thanks.

Wtf has that got to do with this smartass? Didn't you read the first post in this thread, that problem is sorted!! Why did the clutch problem last so long? Dozens of people telling me it was a clutch bleeding problem, wrong! And dozens of people telling me i 'didn't need an sac clutch fitting tool, and' one' person adamantly told me no use of tool, no gears! And i sadly ignored that 'one' person, who was correct!
Haynes manual, factory renault service manual as well didn't mention the f*ckin tool either smartass, not really my fault then!

Are you sure there are no tight cables being pulled on that then mess with the connections?
New clockspring i fitted about 8 or 9 months ago has been fine! Although steering wheel hasn't been tilted until now obviously which has probably slightly moved a connection, similar to people moving seats and disturbing underseat airbag connections and causing lights i suppose. robbocop33 said:

Just an update, as i've just had someone trying to make an arse of me, or make some kind of point that because this clutch thread went on for four pages i'm somehow mentally deficient and not worth replying too?
I think you need to calm down a bit really, it was a simply a nudge for you to do the decent thing. After all the help you get on here, you couldn't even be bothered to put a conclusion to it and thank those who offered help.
Don't have a go at me for pointing that out.

Either way glad it’s sorted.
