Hi All.

Bear with with me,

New to forums but its my last hope

Trying to locate a front fuel feed pipe for my Vauxhall Vectra SRI 2.2 Direct Hatchback 2006

There was one 2004 SRI 2.2 breaking for parts but im not sure whether this car would have the compatible part.

Main dealer has discontinued the part. so any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Brian

Take the existing one to a hydraulic hose outfit, Pirtek or similar. They'll make one.

Thanks for the suggestion, but there is a metal chrome disc built into the fuel hoseline and it is this thats leaking.

What is the function of that disc?

About the diameter of a coke can, maybe half an inch thick? On the driver's side near the top of the engine?

It seems it's just an empty metal container, doesn't have anything in it or restrict fuel flow etc.

I think it's there to damp out pulses or something in the fuel flow, might be they were getting some kind of odd resonance type effects? I've seen Vauxhall engines with and without them.

Not sure you can actually buy them. I'd probably just bypass it.
