Not even one "Do Ron Ron" joke frown

What bulb fitment do the lights have as in H1, H2, H3 etc. If you can identify there will more than likely be a LED replacement.

Halfords, Amazon, Ebay as well as various online bulb suppliers such will be able to sell you a LED H3 bulb. Here is one example.

They are most likley fitted with H3 bulbs, so you would be looking for H3 LED - plenty of results in google for this like;

As far as I can recall the square 8 used an H1 bulb.

The problem that Ron the OP will face is whether there is enough space in the lamp body to accommodate the heat dissipation device at the back of the led bulb. I suspect not.
Example these which are good lamps but...

He doesn't say exactly why he wants to go led, but I presume it's better performance. Problem with led bulbs is that the H1 incandescent has quite a small filament, and it's difficult / impossible to find led lights with small emitters which correspond.

The key issue is that generally for all lights, but especially for spot and driving lights the accurate location of the filament is key, nothing is worse than having lots of light but not thrown in the correct way.

Ron doesn't say whether he's already tried this but personally I wouldn't spend the considerable price on led experiment but fit uprated H1 incandescent bulbs, either legal ones like Osram Nightbreaker plus

or maybe illegal 100w or 130w rally H1 bulbs if wishing to go that route.

Edited Ok just seen it is H3, similar advice applies, uprated H3 incandescent over led for me.

Many thanks for help. The only reason for led bulbs was that the 2 lamps I bought did not have bulbs fitted it seemed a good idea to upgrade them
The original bulbs carry a connection wire so after all the comments I’m going to fit original type many thanks for all the replies

Here's a cool story bro.... wink

Mate of mine called me the other day to say could I replace the bulb in his wife's Honda Accord headlamp, apparently Halfords refused the task due to 'it requires us to dismantle the car'.

'My alarm bells rang and I just knew that's a bumper off job.'

Mother of God! Who thought it would be sensible to design a car where the front bumper needs to be removed to get at a headlight bulb?

Very fortunately I have access to a fully equipped workshop with 2-stage ramps but what an absolute ball ache that job was. I'm certain that if you are Honda trained and doing this day in and out it probably only takes 30 mins - more like 3 hours for me though.

I couldn't even imagine doing that job on a drive way at home or at a petrol station fore court.

Ludicrous design from Mr Honda there - I'd like to give him a piece of my mind hehe

If space is limiting candescent bulb, then try some of the Nigh breaker types if you are wanting to upgrade the lighting output.

Welcome to PH btw....

My eldest's Renault Meganesport has a small circular flap in the front of each front wheel arch liner through which you can access the headlight bulb, awkward as you can't see what you are doing but possible.

To change the sidelight bulbs it's a bumper off job. First time I did it I thought I must be missing something obvious & just couldn't see an easy access but a search of a couple of Megane websites soon put me straight! Oh, and that just gives you access to the light unit retaining screws so you need to remove those as well to take the unit out & get at the bulb.

I'm given to understand that whilst they were still under warranty Renault dealers would change them for the cost of a bulb.

Perhaps they're still trying to get their own back for Waterloo.....
