2004 fiesta bonnet not catching after replacement

Hi guys,

Just replaced the slam panel, bumper head lights and bonnet of my fiesta last week. Everything has gone smoothly until i tried to close the bonnet. Its catching the first latch but not the second. I can see its pushing the second latch down but not enough to fully lock into place. Does anyone have any idea for what i can do to fix this?

The bonnet catch should be able to be raised a few MM, try that

The "nose" on the bonnet that catches the latch is normally adjustable.

It normally either has a screwdriver slot or spanner flats in it & a very narrow locknut.

Managed to solve it this morning. turns out the bonnet was out of line by a couple mm. Very difficult to see by eye but some fiddling about managed to solve it. Thanks for the advice anyway
