Sae electrical connector silly question.

Want to rig some quick detach wires.

Found these sae connectors, they look perfect but they only cone like this.

There are no male female/ different polarity

So looking at the picture I’d have to wire black to live on one end.

Now it’s late and I’m probably being thick. What am I missing?

They are also commonly available with both wires black, and also as a pair wired back to back so you have one connector of each polarity.
