I have one of the previous-gen ones of these without the useful tank-mounted hose reel thing. Bought it for £60 when they were reduced to clear in 2018.
I mostly use mine as a blow gun, tyre pressures and things of that ilk. I've gone for a cordless impact wrench as it's less faff than the air/electric ones.
Otherwise it's a useful tool - I've been looking at an air-powered brake bleeder, I've used it for an air nail gun, etc.

Will it run an impact gun...
Not in my experience, but that's a relatively cheap impact. Maybe a fancy one would run.Penelope Stopit said:

Yes, but you'll have to stop half way.Penelope Stopit said:
Will it blow dust away for 5 minutes none stop?
Yes, depending on what pressure and flow you want. I use about 40 psi according to the regulator and it goes for ages.I mostly use mine as a blow gun, tyre pressures and things of that ilk. I've gone for a cordless impact wrench as it's less faff than the air/electric ones.

I presume this is a tech error on Gates' behalf, as there's nothing similar in the 306 at all.
I have seen problems with hoses where the engines were shared between Peugeot/Citroen and the hose layout was different, but with the same part numbers, but again that's not happening here as the Xsara's hose layout is completely different, with expansion takeoffs on the bottom hose...
How odd!
This SASIC one looks OK though: https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/sasic-7725842.htm...
