best home diagnostic/code reader for e36 m3...
Discussion
my e36 evo has developed a fault and it's a pita getting it to a garage for code reading.
it's misfiring under revs when cold/damp but gets better as it warms up (still idles really smoothly though). i have my suspicions (tps, o2 sensor, coilpack, etc) and want to run diagnostics myself to confirm before part replacements.
has anyone here got a good setup at home and if so what did you use? it's a 96-97 uk model so only has the round 20-pin under-bonnet port to take readings from.
any helpful advice greatfully received.
