LPG removal issues
Discussion
Today I regret ever touching the car, but decided to remove that last of the crappy LPG system from my Holden Ute. Most of it was already out of the car albeit the pipes and a small amount of wiring.
I think the problem came from removing the changeover switch in the dash. It was always still powered and lit up under 'petrol mode'. But now I have removed it the car wont start and fuel pump wont prime!
I cant see any other areas where the original loom has been touched so I can't understand how removing it seems to have disabled the fuel pump. The fuse is ok and you can hear the relay click over, but nothing is getting to the pump. Even worse is the fact I forgot to take any pictures
Such an annoying end to the day but I would appreciate it if anyone here has any LPG experience and can me figure out where to go next.

Provide an ignition switched feed to the pump perhaps? Is your pump ecu controlled?
EDITEDit does look like the pump is ecu controlled, but the relay does come on and off to prime with the ignition so I think that's ok. I have just put 12v feed directly on the relay output to the pump and the pump still won't prime, so there must be a break in there somewhere that the LPG switch was wired into

Yes, seems like there's a hidden feed. Good luck with it. I hate electrics.
I hate them too haha. If its left alone I don't mind as much but aftermarket bodgery always winds me up, hence wanted to remove it all from the car. I wish I had just learned to live with the little blinking switch on the dash now
Have you removed the LPG ECU?
Not sure if this is the issue but follow me for a minute...…
LPG fitted cars have an ECU & one thing that this does is to always start on petrol.
Perhaps this installation has bypassed the prime from the original ECU and it needs re-instating.
Just a thought.

The LPG Ecu was already removed when I had bought the car :/
I will go back with a fresh head tonight and check the fuel pump wiring back from the relay. The only thing still powered which I removed was the changeover switch, but I didn't see any of that wiring still go into the main loom, but I guess I have missed something!

Fixed!
A day away to think about it, and coming back with fresh eyes definitely helped. Found this buried in the wiring

The purple wire is the fuel pump feed, and the wires bridged onto it are what I thought were used for the aftermarket fog light, hence why I dismissed them yesterday. Bridged over now though and the car runs! I will have to get my soldering iron from the garage tomorrow and remove it and repair properly
