Hi Guys

So I’m converting a horse box into a food bar, doing the flooring now, any suggestions on whether I would need welding done?

I’m brushing the steel support today but I’m lost as to whether I’ll need further welding done..

Any suggestions..

Depends on whether the original steel is in good condition and the welds are full welds.
You could put in a few new cross members to strengthen the whole lot.
Also depends if you are just boarding the floor with wood. I think the floor should be replaced
with aluminium checker plate.
Just my opinion.

Give the whole chassis and knock on with a hammer and screw driver if you don't go through anywhere it's solid

Then flap disc on an angle grinder the clean up the metal rust converter and a couple of coats of paint

Cheers, went round with a hammer and screwdriver, so far so good, I’ve been told I’ll need to go round with a needle draper so on to the next task 👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Needle draper?

Needle gun type device with vibrating steel pins?

Yep, is that not a good idea?

Probably better suited to boiler scale. Get a cup brush in your angle grinder.
