Fiat 500 Air con Issue
Discussion
Hi my wife's 2015 Fiat 500 has an air con issue in that its full of refrigerant, one side of the heating system blows hot air at all times and the other side slightly cooler, it used to be ice cold, car has done less than 10,000 miles, doing research it sounds like an actuator flap issue.
Has anyone had any knowledge of replacing these as it seems like its dash out

Then it' won't be an actuators issue
The manual Aircon is cable operated and vary rarely fail
I assume the knobs are all moving correctly from one end to another?
If so it's looking more like a Aircon issuesThe manual Aircon is cable operated and vary rarely fail

Check the front of your car for the Aircon condenser they can suffer badly from stone damage damaging the fins massivly reducing the cooling capacity which would show up given the hot weather lately

Knobs are fine, It has been topped up with refrigerant and has no leaks, revs drop and compressor kicks in when aircon turned on, passenger side vents are cool not cold, drivers side hot, it also slightly whistles could be a stuck flap?
Dash is the same as this one.
The flap on the drivers side is stuck open, remove some lower trim panels and have a poke around, it should be a straightforward fix and might just need a wiggle to free it off.
If you look down at each side of the heater box you will see a cable running to an arm that moves the flap (or it should be) it may have become detached.
