Sorry if this is in the wrong place or is a stupid question- I'm not planning to touch anything airbag related myself, just trying to source parts as my local mechanic here in NL is having some trouble finding them. As my car was more popular in the UK, and I have family and friends who could post parts to me if needed, I thought I might look in the UK.

My question is, can a side impact sensor from an RHD Toyota Celica (Mk7) be fitted to an LHD car? If so, does it go on the same side of the car (so the right side sensor on the right side) or are the sides swapped (driver's side sensor on the driver's side)?

Thanks for your help!

It looks like the sensors are sided see this ebay listing below, so i would say r/h goes in the r/h side and you would not swap them when a car lhd

Any disconecttion of a sensor or disconeection of the door electrics it will bring the light on in the dash and would need to be turned of with a capable diagnostic machine
