Just taken my wife’s 2016 Touareg for a decent run and on returning it is dripping water (I’m pretty sure it’s water though I haven’t tasted it) underneath, just in from passenger side front wheel. Is this anything that needs seen to? I had the ac blasting so possibly just condensate, or given its close to exhaust perhaps some byproduct of the adblue system. Not noticed this before but then we’ve only had the car since Jan. thanks

Why was this moved to somewhere no one would see it? I’m not a home mechanic, and have no intention of tackling the issue if there is one. General gassing was the most appropriate place for it.

That said, any advances on AC? It doesn’t look like a drain

I would choose a warm day with dry ground to go out and start the car with the Climate set to ECON. Wait for a few minutes and look underneath. Then turn the AC on, set to LO and see if any condensate drips below your car.

Don't know where you put it originally but I would say that unless it was a brand/model specific forum this is exactly where I would expect such a question to get the best responses.

Just because you aren't a home mechanic doesn't mean that home experienced home mechanics aren't the ideal person to answer the question.

I would echo what others have said - most likely aircon drain.
