Hi Guy's,

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section. I just wanted to ask, is re mapping worth it. I have a Vauxhall Corsa (2017) ecoflex SRI. This is my first car.

Would it be worth re mapping? I'm not too sure to be honest. I've heard good and bad things, but with the car not being that old, I'm just not sure.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks.

Not unless you feel that the manufacturers who spent years designing the engine and ECU messed up, and some backstreet outfit cloning generic chips can do a better job.

First car = No.

If you are in any doubt about this phone your insurance company & ask them.

If you don't declare it to your insurance company you aren't insured & try getting over that one so soon in your "insurance life".

The fact that you think people 'clone chips' doesn't suggest you're up with recent events grandad smile

I wouldn't on your first car.Your insurance will either rocket exponentially even if you do find someone who will insure you. Also, if it's a N/A Corse, you wont see much of a difference.
