OBDeleven or Carista?

Debating whether to get OBDeleven or Carista to turn off start/stop etc in the new Škoda when it arrives.

Any view in which to get?

They're both OK and provide very similar functions. OBDeleven though is just mainly for use with VAG systems where Carista is more versatile..

I got a carista, and it worked well for a few small tweaks on my Octavia.

Carista worked fine on my wife's Ibiza - but support for my Porsche Cayman was very limited indeed. I didn't need the expensive Carista OBD plug in, a cheapo one at a fraction of the price worked fine.

Another vote for Carista here - I use it with a cheap WIFI dongle (as the bluetooth ones dont work with iPhones, or never used to)

Used it on loads of vehicles with success - including a recently purchased TT to turn on the DRLs, lock chime, etc...

Have defo worked for a couple of years on iPhone as i use Carista & their BT Dongle in my Golf R & works perfectly.

For O/P, as others have said, if you ONLY intend to use on your Skoda then either will do the job well (Carista used to offer a free 30 day setup so you could buy, make all the changes you need & then cancel subscription so no cost).

If you plan to use on a wider range of cars then Carista has the edge & they're adding new makes/models every few weeks.

Probably a stupid question but can you use Carista connector with OBD11 app - or vice versa??

I’m assuming no but you never know.
