Hi all. I am wanting to know your advice on tool brands. For power tools I am drawn towards milwaukee and there isn't much chance I will stray away. For hand tools I am drawn towards Teng Tools because of their reputation and variety, but I am also considering Draper and Sealey. What is everyones opinions?
PS: I am picky and like to have most things one brand so mix and match isn't really and option.

Thanks in advance.

alot of sealey is rebadged china stuff , look around and you can find ebay no name stuff without their sticker on

i dont stick to one brand , not many makers are good at everything

if warranty bothers you then halfords is open 7 days a week vs fighting with sending things back etc

I have a mixture of Halfords professional, Draper "old" tools (not the newer chineseium ones), Bahco and Norbar.

Power tools are usually Dewalt, although I've not got a few things from Lidl/Aldi like a compressor, saw etc and they are OK for what I need.

I have a mixture of Halfords pro, Makita (i.e. I will look to see if they have something that can use the LXT batteries first and then miluwalkee next.

I also use a lot of Wera and Knipex stuff now for good quality job specific tools.

Halfords Pro or Bahco would be my choice, I'm very much a fan of Bahco socket sets etc.

Next tier up would be Wera, Facom, that kind of brand.

I’m very happy with all my Halfords Advanced tools, with the lifetime guarantee being an added bonus. If you can wrangle yourself a trade card, their prices become a lot more competitive.

If you get them on sale they are allready competitive given the warranty

Especially compared to snapoff which is arout 4-5x times price not little extra benefit

Lots of people are saying Halfords Pro. I've not heard of that myself, is that like workshop stuff?

I use Halfords Advanced. Great tools and good quality

Sockets: Halfords Pro mainly
Spanners : Halfords Pro
Ratchets: Machine Mart / Clarkes, (very durable)
Screwdrivers: Facom with a cheap eBay set for abusing
Air tools: Blue Point and Ingarsol Rand
Pliers: MAC Tools, Facom and Irwin.

All my other bits are a mixture of mid level brands.

I’m not a fan of either Draper or Sealey though.
