To trickle charge or not?
Discussion
Hello,
Like a lot of the population, I've worked from home for the last twelve months and so have hardly used my vehicle.
I've been charging it using a regular charger once a month and everything seems fine; whenever I've taken it out for a spin, it's started up first time and hasn't missed a beat (it's in a garage not on the street so is sheltered from the elements).
My company have just informed me that I am free to work from home until 1st October at which point the arrangement will be reviewed.
I've just SORNed my motor but got thinking about charging it.
Would you recommend carrying on doing what I'm doing or is it better for the battery if I hook it up permanently to a trickle charger for the next six months?
