Im just curious as to how people feel about using rubber or silicone bungs on their engines to block out debris when drilling out broken bolts or working on their engines? Is it a worthy investment or not something anyone really uses?

Not really worth buying specific bungs imo, and best to just plug the holes with something or tape them up. Doing so is definitely worthwhile as a precaution though if you're drilling near an opening.
