Hi All
Never had repaired a flat tyre before so don't know how much does it costs? Can someone please give me a rough price please.

I pay a tenner for mine at the local back street tyre place, i think it's more like 15-20 quid at Kwik Fit/ATS etc.

They can generally only repair if the hole is small and in the centre third of the tread, well away from the sidewall.

I’ve been quoted between £10 and £25 to take a screw out of a tyre and glue in a plug recently.

I think mine was £15 recently. May have been 20 as I was having tracking done as well so not 100% sure

They can’t always repair if the hole is too big, or in the wrong place, or if the tyre has been driven on flat.

Been charged about £17.50 many times at large tyre chains as well as local places, figured it was a kind of a standard price.

16 - 20 quid using smaller tyre shops or my local garage rather than the big branded places.

Somewhere in the £teens seems to be the going rate these days - got a bit of a shock as my last puncture repair some years ago was about a fiver!

Thank you All for your messages.
Managed to take it to local garage, who charged me £10. He said there is problem with rim seal as he didn't find a puncture (when placed it in water tub). He mentioned the tyre is old and should be changed (as there were small cracks like lines on side) and quoted £25 for a part worn. But I decided to stick with my tyre as there was a lot of thread left.
