I'm considering purchasing this. Does it only work with one manufacturer, or can you get an option for more than one make, eg, Mercedes and Mazda.

Is Carly something you have to subscribe to yearly?

I also heard there was an update coming soon. Is it here yet?

The Carly website is sort of vague on these issues.

I think Carly mainly works best with the manufacturers whose onboard ECUs offer customisability via coding in the first place - e.g. BMW and VAG products. Carly simply takes the various options available which can be done manually are normally tricky, and puts a fancy user interface on it.

Its pretty overpriced for say a Mercedes, because it doesn't offer coding etc.

Ok, thanks. I've ended up just going for an EML327 and I'll use Torque Pro even just to give me a heads up on codes before any visits to a garage.
